Château de Beauregard has been owned by the burrier family for 6 generations and is regarded as one of the major properties of Southern Burgundy, in the Mâconnais/Beaujolais region.
The vineyards cover 42 hectares, including 22 hectares of Pouilly-fuissé, 7 hectares of Saint-Véran.

Pouilly-Fuissé is the most famous appellation of the Mâconnais where Chardonnay enjoys limestone-rich clay and varied terrain. Château de Beauregard produces Pouilly-Fuissé from 35 acres in three villages: Fuissé, Solutré-Pouilly and Vergisson. Half of the cuvée is fermented and aged in 228 litre Burgundian pièce with the remainder in stainless-steel tanks.

Pouilly-Fuissé is a full-bodied wine of rich and opulent flavours and texture. Ripe apple, lemon, cream, and brioche are Pouilly-Fuissé's hallmark flavours. Château de Beauregard generally aims for clarity and freshness over oaky flavours and this wine shows a touch of toast and vanilla from ageing partially in barrel.

Serve between 12 and 15°C in fine crystal glasses. 'Les Insarts' matches well with scallops, grilled or 'en sauce' fish, poultry (poulet de Bresse à la crème), 'quenelles' and of course goats cheese.
