The Vin Santo Occhi di Pernice of the Boscarelli Winery has a deep amber color reminiscent of the partridge, with intense nuances; rich and concentrated aroma, of particular complexity, with hints of candied red fruit; full harmonic flavour and long persistence, but above all extremely elegant and well balanced in the acidic/sugar ratio.

A meditation wine, it goes perfectly with various desserts, from dry pastries to soft creams and puddings. Lovely with foie gras and cheeses especially blue. The wine should be served at a temperature of 12°C.

The Vin Santo Occhi di Pernice is produced in Tuscany by Boscarelli winery. The must is obtained by pressing Malvasia, Grechetto and Trebbiano grapes, naturally dried. Vin Santo Santo Toscano belongs to the oldest tradition. It is the wine of welcome and of being together. The name derives from the fact that the grapes from which it comes, were left to wither until Holy Week. At Easter, they were pressed and fermented in 20 to 50 litre wooden barrels and sealed with sealing wax.
