The Domaine des Aubuisières covers 33 hectares on the best terroirs of the Vouvray appellation. The vines are spread over 2 types of soil, 75% clay-limestone (on the hillsides) and clay-siliceous (on the edges of the plateau) which allows us to offer all the richness, complexity and potential of Chenin Blanc, also called Pinot de Loire.

Plan de Jean is an unprecedented success and one that will reward time and patience in the cellar. The unctuous texture perfectly combines with the sweet fruitiness and minerality of the Chenin Blanc variety. The colour is brilliant with strong yellow reflections. The nose is complex with toasted nuts, herb, straw and winter pear notes. The botrytised aspect is present which displays as sweet ripe fruit on the nose. The palate has a nice sugar/acid balance where sugar is present yet never over-bearing.

Wonderful alongside foie gras, shellfish, chocolate or fruity desserts.
