A superb pale yellow in colour with bright green reflections. Expressive on the nose with citrus, white fleshed fruits (apple and pear), white floral and mineral notes. Fresh and balanced on the palate, hints of citrus, and white fruits. The finish is marked by a minerality. A true example of Picpoul de Pinet.

Great as an aperitif, known as the Muscadet of the South in France, this is a thirst quenchingly mineral wine that is the perfect choice as a partner to seafood, particularly oysters, grilled fish or fish tartare.

"This crisp and refreshing wine was made from 100% Picpoul hand-harvested at night to help preserve its intense aromatics. Gently pressed and settled under inert gas for 48 hours prior to temperature-controlled fermentation, it's then aged on the lees to add creaminess and depth. Malolactic fermentation was eschewed in favour of highlighting the racy acidity for which the variety is known. Bright, with a light straw colour, the wine offers grapefruit and Mediterranean herbs on both nose and palate, where additional tropical flavours of mango and lime are backed up by underlying minerality."
