Terroirs of Bourgogne from the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits are recognised by the Bourgogne Côte d'Or appellation. Cuvée des Forgets comes from vineyards on clay soils in the Côte de Beaune.

The nose is expressive with notes of white and yellow fruits, succulent flowers and touches of toast. The nose is elegant and powerful. The attack is round and vivacious. On the palate, the wine displays fine balance and a lovely body with crisp acidity. The same aromas are found as on the nose. This is an expressive and fresh wine with a long finish.

At the heart of the vineyard, the Domaine Patrick Javillier is located in Meursault, capital of the great white wines of Burgundy. This family domain covers 11 hectares of the Côte de Beaune, in Regional appellations, with the brand new Bourgogne Côte d'Or, but also AOC Village, Premier Cru and Grand Cru. They produce mainly white wines from the Chardonnay grape, in parcels located in the villages of Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Savigny-les-Beaune and Aloxe-Corton. The range also includes wines made from the Pinot Noir grape, from the Savigny-les-Beaune, Aloxe-Corton and Pernand-Vergelesses appellation areas. Their winemaking methods allow wines to express the diversity of these terroirs.
