Golden colour delicately tinted with copper reflects. Rich and complex, the nose develops aromas of dried fruits with toasted and pastry notes. On the palate the greediness of the fruit is combined with its crunchiness. Flavours of apricot and orange zest evolving into stewed notes. Subtle combination of structure, length, and liveliness. This cuvée goes wonderfully with long simmered game or poultry dishes. Dishes with truffles or morels will be sublimated. Serve between 8° and 10°, to open now or to leave in cellars for more ageing. Champagne Forget-Brimont is a small producer of Champagne located in Craon de Ludes. 6th Generation Champenoise Michel Forget is the current owner and winemaker and the estate can trace it roots back to the early nineteenth century when his ancestor, Louis, first created vineyards in the area.
