Château Pesquié Terrasses Blanc 2021, Rhône, France
A blend of typical white varieties from the Rhône. 40% Viognier, 20% Roussanne, 20% Clairette and 20% Grenache. Beautiful tension and freshness with lemon, grapefruit, lychee and white stone fruit aromas. Drink as an apéritif or pair with vegetable dishes, grilled fish, white meats and light cheeses.
Höpler Grüner Veltliner 2023, Burgenland, Austria
Grüner Veltliner is marked by its mineral character, yellow apple scents, and peppery flavours. The nose exudes aromas of pear, tangerine and lemon while the palate shows citrus blossom with a white pepper finish. Suitable as an apéritif or as an accompaniment to fresh salads, asparagus, oysters, and sushi.
Domaine de la Chauvinière Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Sur Lie 2023, Loire, France
Produced from old vines on granite soil using the unique variety, Melon de Bourgogne. The grape matures slightly later than usual, resulting in a wine good phenolic grip and texture. Notes of green apple, lime, and oyster shell delight in this nervy wine. Serve with shellfish, seafood, or as an apéritif.
Finca Valpiedra, Cantos de Valpiedra 2020, Rioja, Spain
A highly aromatic Tempranillo with black fruit and ripe sloe notes. Lovely minerality and a well balanced acidity. Aromas of vanilla, spice and tobacco from the 12 months ageing in French and American oak barrels. Try with turkey, lamb or pork.
Finca Sophenia Malbec 2021, Mendoza, Argentina
Vineyards at an elevation of 4,000 feet above sea level provide a complex and concentrated wine, balanced with freshness and elegance. Fresh red fruit and a marked floral presence. Sweet, velvety tannins and a long finish. Pair grilled steak with a pepper sauce, spiced beef or Mexican dishes.
Herdade do Sobroso Red 2022, Alentejo, Portugal
A blend of Aragonez, Alicante Bouschet, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Aromas of mature, brambly fruit and chocolate, in a smooth and harmonious combination. Medium bodied and well-structured with balanced acidity. Superb with duck, game and hard cheeses.
