      Tasting Notes and Description
Golden, young Aszú with a supremely refined and complex tapestry of aromas; citrus and meadow flowers abound. The wine lover senses caramel, citrus and dried fruits, and white flowers on the palate with the discreet appearance of bergamot, candied orange, butter, caramel and almond notes from barrel aging. The typical minerality of Tokaji brings a slight saltiness to this drinkable wine thanks to its delightful acid. Elegance that promises to be a great wine with serious aging potential.

Recommended with lemon cake, dark chocolate citrus or orange desserts, dark chocolate caramel cake but it is also a noble companion to savoury biscuits, quiche Lorraine and roast meats with fruits and Peking duck.

Grape varieties 60% Furmint, 30% Hárslevelu, 10% Yellow Muscat with the berries being harvested from the end of October untill the end of November. Fermentation and ageing for 3 years in 220 litre Szerednyei oak barrels from the Zemplén hills.

In 1737 the Tokaj Wine Region was declared the first closed wine region in the world. Since 2002 it has belonged to the UNESCO World Heritage. The area of 6,202 hectares (15,325 acres) lies in Northeastern Hungary, in a triangle between the Sátor hills of Abaújszántó and Sátoraljaújhely and the Kopasz hill in Tokaj.
