At Château Picoron, they explore the potential of the great grape that is Merlot. All grown in plots surrounding the Château. The wines are not blended, each is produced from a single plot of grapes, from their 4.5ha vineyard. An honest expression of terroir on the famous Saint-Émilion clay & limestone ridge.

"After a challenging year, our grapes reached a perfect maturity. We extracted the best of our fruit potential only through pigeages technics. Our wine was then aged for 23 months in oak barrels. The result is a rich wine with a velvety texture, surrounded by black berry and cacao notes. Né de L'Eden is the pure expression of Picoron!"

The back label says, 'This wine is made following the OUVIPO philosophy (Ouvroir de Vins Potentiels). Made honoring natural and self-imposed constraints.' Minimal intervention, according to the back label.
