Patrick Javillier

At the heart of the vineyard, the Domaine Patrick Javillier is located in Meursault, capital of the great white wines of Burgundy. This family domain covers 11 hectares of the Côte de Beaune, in Regional appellations, with the brand new Bourgogne Côte d'Or, but also AOC Village, Premier Cru and Grand Cru.

The family story started in Meursault, after the war in 1945, Raymond Javillier decided to cultivate the 2 hectares of plots belonging to the family.

In 1974 Patrick received his diploma in wine studies and his father handed over the estate gave him full responsibility for the harvest and the winemaking process.

In the 80s and 90s the estate expanded acquiring new plots and also had the addition of land belonging the family of Patrick’s wife Catherine.

Marion, Patrick’s eldest daughter and Pierre- Emmanuel Lamy, Patrick’s son in law joined the domain and are the third generation making wine in the estate. 

They produce mainly white wines from the Chardonnay grape, in parcels located in the villages of Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Savigny-les-Beaune and Aloxe-Corton.

The range also includes wines made from the Pinot Noir grape, from the Savigny-les-Beaune, Aloxe-Corton and Pernand-Vergelesses appellation areas.

Their winemaking methods allow wines to express the diversity of these terroirs.
