Domaine Nathalie & Gilles Fèvre

In 1923, Gilles Fèvre’s great-grandfather became one of the founding members of the cooperative, La Chablisienne. The family committed whole-heartedly to the cooperative and delivered their entire harvest for vinification from 1923 to 2003. Gilles’ grandfather and father both held the position of president, while his wife, Nathalie, was chief oenologist for 12 years.

In 2003, Nathalie and Gilles seized the opportunity to take back some of their vineyards and make wines under their own label.

Domaine Nathalie & Gilles Fèvre covers a little more than 99 acres.

Parcels are treated individually, and treatments are used sparingly and intelligently.

Chemical insecticides have been replaced by natural pest control.

The estate has adopted sustainable viticulture for more than 20 years, only using eco-friendly techniques. And now, some parts of the vines are organically grown (a little more than 25 acres).

In the cellar, they vinify each vineyard plot separately, working in the simplest possible way so the minerality and complexity of their wonderful terroirs express themselves freely.

The estate’s philosophy in a few words: To produce authentic Chablis wines; characterized by a firm backbone and purity.
