Crunchy black fruit, a subtle balance between roundness of structure and fruit intensity. Petit Jammes reveals a natural finesse, with its aromas of blackberries, blackcurrants and violets. The palate is long, balanced and harmonious with no sign of oak ageing.

Great paired with beef with cumin, a vegetable tagine, crispy goat cheese puff pastries, a curry, sausage platter, duck rillettes, country terrine or ham. Serve at 16-18°C

The vines are rooted on a clay-limestone hillside of the Causse de Cahors in the shape of an amphitheater facing south-west. The soils are very stony on a steep slope. It is one of the highest vineyards of the Appellation. Aging potential 4 to 5 years.
