      Tasting Notes and Description
Jerome represents the fifth generation of wine growers. He has taken his seat beside his father Pierre since 1998. By working at producing fine and elegant wines, Jerome puts his print on his vineyards. He enjoys saying that: "It is the sum of small details that makes the difference". If the Coursodon wines are almost impeccable today, this is owed to the concern for always doing the best, which has driven all the generations of Coursodon, from Jean-Auguste to Jerome today.

The Coursodon vineyard produces exclusively red and white Saint-Joseph extending across 16 hectares; 13.5 for the red wines (exclusively Syrah) and 2.5 for the white wines (Marsanne and Roussanne).

The vineyard is mainly located in Mauves, birthplace of the Saint-Joseph, on granitic ground, soil most favoured by the Syrah vine. The rest of the property is situated on the communes of Glun, Tournon and Saint-Jean-de-Muzols.

The wine is a very elegant, 100% Marsanne. It is a very fresh and creamy wine. It also proves to have good length on the palate. Sweet flavours with a good balance between alcohol and acidity.

For seafood lovers, this fresh and mineral wine will be perfect. Silice Blanc can also be enjoyed on its own as an apéritif.

"100% Marsanne. Fermented in stainless steel with malolactic conversion completed. Tasted blind. Grilled nuts, smoke and gunflint nose. The palate has broad shoulders with ripe fruits, a textured mid palate and just a hint of smoke. Attractive and interesting - drinking well already. Drink to 2028. 16 points."
(Alistair Cooper MW, jancisrobinson.com, October 2022)

"A ripe nose with yellow fruits, corn, acacia and some honey. It’s medium-bodied and well-balanced on the palate with a creamy texture. Round and ample with freshness at the center. Generous but restrained, with a succulent and fruity finish and excellent length. Drink or hold."
      93 points.
