Prà
For Graziano Prà, the path of winemaker was a clear one, growing up around the family vineyards, managed by his grandfather and father, to train as an oenologist. In the 1980s change began, when things started to take shape with the establishment of the F.lli Prà company, initially managed by Graziano and his brother, and then in 2007 he became the sole owner.
With forty hectares of vineyards on the Soave hills with soils of volcanic origin, Prà are in one of the best parts in the Soave area for growing vines.
Out of respect for the place where they live and for love of nature itself, they grow vines with the utmost attention to the natural environment.
They have eight hectares in the hills of Valpolicella composed of a calcareous flaky soil, a very cold area, influenced by the cold currents of the Lessini Mountains.
These soils and climate contribute to the complexity of the wines of the following varieties: Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave in the Soave production area; Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Oseleta in the wider Valpolicella.
